His brother, him and three others were in a town 16 miles away. but they knew that their families were dead. they were hungry, scared, and restless. I was hooked when I started it. Ishmael story so far has captured my attention. it is and will conitue to be a great book.
Im reading Gym Candy. Its a very Interesting book because it talks about how a young boy is working hard to please his dad in football. He goes out for the Varisty Team for Highschool. As he competes for his spot, he soon discovers he has made the team and is ahead of most of the returning football players. His dad is very happy with him and doesnt want him to do wrong like he did.

This book (surprisingly)is an autobiography.The story is about an aspiring writer's path to riches.This entails many encounters with drug dealers and sinister charecters.Jack Gantos was introduced into this lifestyle by his desperate need for college funds.The only way Gantos goes about getting this money is to help smuggle 1 kilo(estimate...i havnt got there yet)along the coast of the us.This tedious task results in jail time for Gantos.So far i really like this book.This is amazing because i find it extremly difficult to get drawn into a book!

She becomes friends with this top vampire named Diego, later finding out that the truth about vampires was actually a myth. Meaning they could go outside when the sun was out. They couldn't die by garlic or a stake being driven into their hearts. So they decide to be partners to find out the real truth. I chose this book, because I thought it was going to be an interesting read. The first thing that attracted me to this book was the title, ''The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner'', and some of the text in the book itself.

The book that I am currently reading is called Charlie St. Cloud and not even is it a book but it is also a movie that was very popular about a year ago. The story is about two brothers that get in a car accident after sneaking out and the youngest brother dies. But luckily he really doesn't die to the older brother Charlie because the younger brothers ghost comes and visits Charlie in the forest every night and they play baseball together. I picked this book because I truly enjoyed the movie greatly and I was interested in the book to see how they are different. I like this book because it is very different from anything I have ever read before.

The conflict occuring this story is Character Struggling Internally With Self. Suzie Salmon's mother was so distraught over her daughters death, she couldnt handle being around her family anymore. So she took off for almost eight years, jumping states and jobs, living her own life, leaving the rest of her family behind. Suszie's dad has a very strong feeling that his daughters murderer is one of his next door neighbors. The investigators found no evidence on him, and everyone started thinking Mr.Salmon is going a little bit crazy. He also writes letters to Suzie in a journal a lot of the time. Because of what happened to his daughter, he keeps a close watch on his other two children, Buckley and Lindsey, constantly paranoid of losing another one. Mr. Salmon, whenever he has down time, spends as much time as possible in the den. This is where he thinks and writes to Suzie. He sometimes even sees her face for a split second, in a window or in the distance.

My book is about three young kids telling you about their life when they were younger. Each kid is different and have there own story to tell that way you can understand how they beat the streets.
I chosed the book that I am reading because it the covered looked good and when i read the back of the book it seemed like it would be good. I think that I will be able to learn from this book because it tells you how the kids end up going off to college and having a better life.

The book i am reading is called ripleys beleive it or not. this book is about how ordinary people, do extraordinary things. Some of the things in this book i find impossible, or better yet unbeleivable. It is a good book to me because it is very interesting and surprising, and puts sights on trying to get into the book, and ahcieve things of yourself.
The book I am reading is "the compound", by S.A Bodeen. I am on page 107 out of 245. The book is about a family that is extreamly wealthy. The father has built an undergound compound is case of a nuclear war. as you can guess there was a war and the family had to quickly escape to the compound. only a fue member made it in and the other hadto watch there family die. Its been six years the world they knew is gone. the family would like to leave but eli's father wont let them. BUT WHY?!?

In the book "Things Not Seen" by Andrew Clements, a 15 year old boy goes invisble unexpecticly. But a day afterwords his parents got in a big car crash. Since he is invisble he has to sneak his way into the hopitle and see his mother and father. In the this book the conflict is the Character Struggling Against Fantasy/Supernatural/Technology.
The conflict in my story Hole in My Life is a man vs self conflict. It is that because he has problems joining his friends with doing illegal things like selling drugs and drinking. He knoows that it is wrong and is trying to stop it. I think that Jack Gantos is going to get caught and go to jail.

In Hole In My Life there are a collection of conflicts.It would be easy for me to just state each one and elaborate on each,But that would defeat the purpose of this 100 point assignment.Just to rattle off a few, Gantos endours conflict with himself, society, and nature. See what I mean. The most defined conflict in this book,seems to be conflict with self. Gantos works with his family, is sent to live with family so he can go to school, gets kicked out of school, finds himself back in a racially corupt area, and gets cajoled into transporting hash up the side of the U.S.I know, poor guy is a confused soul.Just after typing all that I have decided conflict with self is certainly the winner!
The book im reading is "uite Scarlett" Im on page number 138 out of 352. Suite scarlett is so far about a girl basically coming into herself. Scarlett the main character is 16 and she loves to right and she has two sisters and a brother and she lives in a hotel. Scarletts brother Spencer is an actor and brings home his friend Eric one day and scarlett forms a big crush on him. I chose Suite Scarlett because i thougt it sounded interesting becauser im interested in hotels.
